บริษัทหลักทรัพย์จัดการกองทุนรวม บัวหลวง จำกัด (กองทุนบัวหลวง) ได้รับใบอนุญาตจดทะเบียนจากกระทรวงการคลังให้ประกอบธุรกิจหลักทรัพย์ประเภทกิจการจัดการลงทุนในปี 2535 โดยมีทุนจดทะเบียน 100 ล้านบาท (ชำระเต็มมูลค่าแล้ว)
ปัจจุบันกองทุนบัวหลวง ดำเนินธุรกิจครอบคลุมทั้งในส่วนจัดการลงทุน ได้แก่ กองทุนรวม กองทุนรวมอสังหาริมทรัพย์ กองทุนรวมโครงสร้างพื้นฐาน กองทรัสต์เพื่อการลงทุนในอสังหาริมทรัพย์และสิทธิการเช่าอสังหาริมทรัพย์ กองทุนส่วนบุคคล และกองทุนสำรองเลี้ยงชีพ และรวมไปถึงธุรกิจทรัสตีให้กับกองททรัสต์
จากข้อมูลของสมาคมบริษัทจัดการลงทุน ณ วันที่ 30 กันยายน 2562 กองทุนบัวหลวงมีทรัพย์สินภายใต้การจัดการประมาณกว่า 7.4 แสนล้านบาท
กองทุนบัวหลวง เป็นกองทุนที่มีแนวทางการลงทุนที่ชัดเจน และสืบทอดต่อเนื่องมากตลอด 27 ปี ทำให้กองทุนบัวหลวงเป็นแห่งแรกในประเทศไทยที่ ได้รับรางวัล บริษัทจัดการกองทุนยอดเยี่ยม ประเภทการลงทุนหุ้นภายในประเทศ (Domestic Equity) จาก บริษัท มอร์นิ่งสตาร์รีเสิร์ซ (ประเทศไทย) จำกัด และได้รับรางวัลดังกล่าง 3 ปีติดต่อกัน ได้แก่ ปี 2558 ปี 2559 และ ปี 2560 อีกทั้งกองทุนบัวหลวงยังเป็นบริษัทที่ได้รับรางวัลในการบริหารกองทุนต่างๆ อย่างต่อเนื่องตลอดกว่า 10 ปี
กองทุนรวมตราสารทุน ของกองทุนบัวหลวง ซึ่งไม่ได้มีกองทุนพิเศษจากทางการ แต่ก็มีการเพิ่มแต่ในช่วงประมาณ 10 ปีที่ผ่านมา ขนาดของมูลค่าทรัพย์สินของกองทุนตราสารทุนภายใต้การจัดการเพิ่มขึ้นกว่า 1.97 แสนล้านบาท นอกจากนี้ กองทุนบัวหลวงยังมีมูลค่าทรัพย์สินสุทธิของกองทุนประเภทหุ้นระยะยาว (LTF) และกองทุนหุ้นเพื่อการเลี้ยงชีพ (RMF) เป็นอันดับหนึ่งของอุตสาหกรรมกองทุนรวม ด้วยขนาดกองทุนกว่า 1 แสนล้านบาท และกว่า 7.7 หมื่นล้านบาท ตามลำดับ
เนื่องจากในช่วง 5 ปีที่ผ่านมา โอกาสลงทุนเปิดกว้างมากขึ้น และนักลงทุนเริ่มหันกลับมาให้ความสนใจในการลงทุนต่างประเทศมากขึ้น กองทุนบัวหลวงจึงนำเสนอกองทุนรวมที่ไปลงทุนในต่างประเทศ ซึ่งการตอบรับที่ดีทำให้มูลค่าทรัพย์สินสุทธิของกองทุนรวมที่ลงทุนในต่างประเทศเพิ่มขึ้นจากกว่า 1.2 หมื่นล้านบาท เป็นประมาณกว่า 1.17 แสนล้านบาท
รู้จักกองทุนบัวหลวงมากขึ้น
In 1992, BBL Asset Management Co., Ltd. (Bualuang Fund) received a license from the Ministry of Finance to be registered as a company to carry on investment management businesses with a registered capital of Baht 100 million (paid-up).
At present, Bualuang Fund carries on businesses that range from investment management, as in mutual funds, property funds, infrastructure funds, property funds, REITS, private funds, provident funds, to be the trustee for trusts.
According to the information from the Association of Investment Management Companies as of 30 September 2019, Bualuang Fund has assets worth approximately more than Baht 741,725 million under the company’s management.
Bualuang Fund has a clear and constant investment direction for 26 years. As a result, Bualuang Fund is the first Thai fund to win the award as the Best Investment Management Company, Domestic Equity, from Morningstar Research (Thailand) Co., Ltd. and it has won the award for 3 consecutive years from 2015-2017. In addition, for more than 10 years, Bualuang Fund has constantly received various awards in investment management.
Nonetheless, throughout the past 10 years, the asset value of the company’s managed equity funds has increased by more than Baht 197,000 million. Moreover, Bualuang Fund has the best net asset value of the LTF and RMF in the fund business at Baht 109,425 million and Baht 77,764 million respectively.
During the past 5 years the investment opportunities have become more open while investors have an incresed level of interest in international investments. This positive reception results in the increase of the net asset values among foreign investment funds from Baht 12,000 million to approximately Baht 117,000 million.
